Piercing

I got my cartilage pierced today. It is the cartilage of my left ear. It felt really different than I had expected. When they put the stud through it felt like a pinch and a quick stab. It throbbed for a while afterward, but for the most part it doesn't really hurt to much anymore unless I accidentally bump it. I also have to make sure that I sleep on my right side tonight.

Exams, Exams, Exams

I am ready for this week to be over. I had an exam yesterday and an exam today. And to top it all off I have an exam tomorrow. Yesterdays exam was in American Lit II and I feel pretty good about how it went. Todays exam was in Personnel Psych and I think that it went alright. And tomorrow's exam is in Applied Methods and Measurement, so I will soon be studying for that. But soon my exams will be over for this week.

Esterlyn

I have discovered a new band that I think is really good. They go by the name of Esterlyn. Esterlyn is currently on tour with Kutless, but they were not at the Duluth show. So my curiosity was aroused as to who this band is, so I looked them up online and I have to say that I am impressed. I especially like their acoustic songs, but I am even starting to like their other songs too! I definitely recommend checking them out. There official website does not include any of their music, but they have a mySpace page. I have included both links below.

Skating

One of the things that I got for Christmas was a 25 dollar visa gift card from my grandma. I decided to use it towards a pair of ice skates, so that I could learn how to skate.
The skates that I ended up getting look a lot like roller blades with the difference of course being that they have a blade rather than wheels.
Sadly, I have only had the chance to use them a couple of times so far, but I am slowly learning how to skate. Hopefully I will eventually learn how to play hockey.

So Much for Spring

Tonight I went out with some friends for a friend's birthday. And we went downtown to Pizza Luce, which was a lot of fun. But once again it was snowing! Which would have been fine except for the fact that the roads were wet, so by the time we left the restaurant there was layer of ice under the snow. Which of course made getting up the hill tricky, but we made it, thankfully! But it just makes me even more anxious for spring, but spring is coming so I shall just have to be patient.

Spring

I had Bible Study tonight. We meet on Mondays at 7 pm. And tonight after we were finished I walked with one of my friends to their car and then they gave me a ride to my apartment even though I didn't really need a ride. So anyway when we walked out we discovered that it was snowing! I know that is still February, but I have to say that I am really sick of snow and I am totally and completely ready for spring! Don't get me wrong I do like winter and I do enjoy snow-its just that I have hit the point were I have spring fever. The picture makes me think reminds me of spring even though it was taken in late summer!

Concert

I went to a rock concert tonight! The bands that played were Kutless, Stellar Kart, and Disciple. Stellar Kart opened the concert with some really great songs! They were followed by Disciple. And Kutless finished out the night. The concert was the first in Kutless' Welcome to the Family Tour! I mostly went to see Kutless, but I also really enjoyed Stellar Kart. And I have to say that there were a couple of songs that Disciple did that I enjoyed. Kutless only played one song tonight that I was not familiar with. I had originally decided not to go, but I was talking to a couple of my friends this morning and they said that they wanted to go, so we decided to go to the concert tonight at about 1 this afternoon. I just couldn't resist going to see my favorite band since they were in town! I had a really great time and right now I am having trouble thinking of a good way to explain and describe the concert, so I am going to leave it at I had a blast and I am really glad that I decided to go.

Update

I am finally going to give you guys an update. My apologies on taking so long to update.
I am sad to report that Galadon died back in January. We know have a new fish in the apartment. The new fish is a yellow zebra danio, who has been named AJ. AJ is more active than Galadon had been.
I am now into the fourth week of second semester. The courses that I am taking consist of Applied Methods and Measurement, Personnel Psychology, American Lit II, 20th-Century Lit, and Guitar Lessons. I am enjoying my classes for the most part. I don't always enjoy the reading in the lit classes, but I am learning that I can still learn things from what we read even if I don't enjoy it. In my guitar lessons I am going to be working on learning some songs by Kutless, which I am very excited about!
Those are the main things that I can think of to tell you guys about at the moment. I will try very hard to update more often this semester.
